Alright, so it's Wednesday night... two days late!

What news? What news?

Well... this news!

Christmas Carol was indeed cancelled. Perhaps trying to stage 3 productions in our first year was a little ambitious, although I maintain that we would have pulled 2 of them off...

We're still unsure as to why the Castle Museum refused our proposal after such a long period of back and forth emails, questions, and general stringing alongness... but we won't dwell on it.

So. To 2007 and 2008.

We've changed our summer '07 production to "Alice in Wonderland". The main reason was public appeal, and the fact that Brothers Grimm may not have sold as well. But we're putting our own mark on it. I'll post a short clip from the 1st readthrough soon which will give you an idea.

We're undecided as to whether or not we'll try for the Castle Museum again next year. We may try some alternative venues, which is a shame as I still believe the Museum is the only place for the production.

2008 is exciting! We're currently putting together a proposal for something involving...

Shakespeare.

Festival.

and...

Yorkshire.

More news on that when it becomes declassified.
